Five doll costume variations are included in this pattern.

View A (Swedish) jumper with striped skirt and a laced bodice, flowered shawl and cap, appliqued waist-bag, lace trimmed blouse, gathered apron with ribbon waistband and ties.

View B (Swedish) blue jumper, yellow apron, blue and yellow waist-bag, all trimmed with Swedish daisy ribbon, apron tied with yellow and blue striped ribbon, white blouse with round collar, tatted edging.

View C (Norwegian) jumper with black skirt and red bodice trimmed with Norwegian woven ribbon, bodice is bound with black bias tape, white blouse has stand-up collar trimmed with white woven ribbon, white eyelet apron.

View D (Generic) jumper with solid bodice and striped skirt, bodice bound and decorated with ribbon, separate belt, no apron.

View E (Norwegian) plaid jumper, bodice has Gubrandsdal neckline, hooks in front; apron in striped calico, ribbon waist-band and ties; white blouse and kerchief.

All views are shown with white pantaloons and t-strap shoes. Many additional variations are possible by combining features from one view with another.

** The 18" costume is designed to fit today's popular Kirsten doll, but by making each piece narrower it will also fit several 18" porcelain dolls. The 14" costume fits collector's dolls of life-like vinyl and porcelain. We suggest that you measure the pattern pieces, compare them to the doll's measurements and make any necessary alterations in length or width. We've included 3 shoe sizes, for 14", 16" and 18" dolls. Because doll's feet vary so much, even without the same height range, compare the pattern to your doll's present shoes and chose the size accordingly."
