The traditional smock worn by cheesemakers in Roquefort, France, falls in gathers from a band collar with a one-button front placket closing. Sleeves are gathered at the wrist into a buttoned band cuff. Shoulder yokes and an underarm gusset complete the typical construction.
This pattern adjusts to fit both men and women, and is a popular choice among historic reenactors.
