Star potholder is quick to make using regular yardage, fat quarters, layer cakes and charm packs. Beginners will gain skills useful in garment making, such as working with fabric grain, sewing on a curve, hand sewing and making bias binding.
Slip on the Busy Diva Apron to look fabulous while doing all your household chores, or when unexpected company drops in! Instructions are given for customizing fit in several ways. One big pocket has a twirly ruffle and access from either side.

The February/March 2014 Number 171 issue of Threads magazine has a nice review of the pattern on page 35. The reviewer wrote "There is more to this design than what meets the eye. It teaches basic sewing skills such as how to work with fabric grain, sew along a curve, and make bias binding. The apron comes in one size, but includes instructions on how to adjust the neck straps and waist ties for a custom fit. The pattern has very detailed illustrations and instructions."
