View I - Floor-length half-circle cape without neckhole, fastened at front shoulder; before the 13th C.
View II - Calf-length half-circle cape without neckhole, fastened in front; before the 13th C.
View III - Calf-length half-circle cape with neckhole, fastened at front shoulder; before the 14th C.
View IV - Calf-length half-circle cape with neckhole, fastened in front; before the 14th C.
View V - Floor-length, almost half-circle cape, cut wide at the neck tapering to the hem in front, fastened at the shoulders; 11th-16th C.
