~ A fun make! ILYA has a 3/4 sleeve, open front (optional) side pockets and back yoke with 2 part sleeve. The back has a pretty tie for a feminine touch! easy on the eyes and easy constructions!
~ Tina Givens made it in a lightweight gauze, but also can make in linen for sure, lightweight cotton, rayon, velvet, woven cotton!
~ ILYA is elegant and hangs beautifully, slightly A-line but hangs straight. The front and back yoke are cut in one, so the piece folds over the shoulder toward the back. We stitch the 1st sleeve piece onto the fronts, and then the 2nd sleeve piece onto the back, so the seams match up perfectly when you stitch the back yoke and sleeve together. Back is slightly loose at the neck with a fun binding and tie in one!
~ PERFECT paired with any pant, legging or skirt. Beautiful over the ruffled sugar slip for dressier occasions. The front opening is meant to just show a peek of your pants.
