This roomy, low-calf length overcoat will be a warm staple in your wardrobe. Simple unlined construction, with built on sleeves (dolman-like) and a one-piece front placket, make this a quick coat to sew up.

The collar can be buttoned for a warm stand-up collar or can lay flat. The large front placket can be buttoned with big novelty buttons, or you can add large snaps or even button-and-loops or frogs.

Large patch pockets keep hands warm or hold your gloves! The wide sleeves come to nearly the wrist and end in a wide and deep cuff. Make the cuff and/or collar from contrasting fabric (or even fur) for an even more dramatic look.
